Last Updated: October 12, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, APIs, and related services operated by SJW Group, Inc., a New York corporation, d/b/a More Good Reviews ("MGR", "we", "us", or "our"), including moregoodreviews.com and related subdomains (collectively, the "Services").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

1. Additional Terms

Your use of the Services is also subject to:

  • our Privacy Policy;
  • our Cookie Policy;
  • our Data Processing Agreement, which applies when you upload or otherwise make available personal information about your end customers, contacts, or other individuals through the Services;
  • our Referral Program Terms, if you participate in Refer & Earn;
  • our Lifetime Deal Terms, if you redeem or use Lifetime Deal access codes; and
  • any order form, plan description, or other written agreement between you and MGR.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed written agreement between you and MGR, the signed agreement controls. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Data Processing Agreement with respect to processing of end-customer personal data, the Data Processing Agreement controls for that processing.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. You may not use the Services if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.

Notify us promptly at legal@moregoodreviews.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

2.3 Team Members and Sub-Accounts

You may invite team members, agency staff, or client users to your account or workspace. You are responsible for their use of the Services and for ensuring they comply with these Terms.

  • integrations with third-party services you authorize;
  • AI assistant and Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectivity that lets external clients you authorize access the Services on your behalf; and
  • API access and webhooks, where available on your plan.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice of material changes that adversely affect core functionality.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to, and not to allow others to:

  1. use the Services in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party platform policy;
  2. send unsolicited or unlawful messages, spam, or communications that violate anti-spam, telecommunications, or consumer protection laws, including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, CASL, or comparable laws;
  3. upload, transmit, or request reviews that are fake, misleading, incentivized in violation of platform rules, or otherwise deceptive;
  4. post, generate, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, obscene, infringing, or otherwise objectionable;
  5. attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems;
  6. interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services;
  7. reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the Services except to the extent permitted by law;
  8. use the Services to collect or process special categories of personal data unless you have a lawful basis and our prior written agreement where required;
  9. resell or sublicense the Services except as expressly permitted under an agency or white-label plan; or
  10. use the Services in a manner that could harm MGR, our providers, or any third party.

We may investigate violations and suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe you have breached this Section.

5. Your Content and Customer Data

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content, data, and materials you submit to the Services ("Your Content"), including customer lists, review content, templates, branding, and configuration settings.

You grant MGR a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, display, and otherwise use Your Content solely as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.

5.2 Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • obtaining all rights, consents, and legal bases necessary to collect, upload, and use Your Content;
  • providing required notices and honoring opt-out, unsubscribe, and data subject requests from your end customers;
  • the accuracy, quality, and legality of Your Content;
  • configuring the Services appropriately for your business and compliance obligations; and
  • messages, review requests, and other communications sent through your account.

5.3 End Customer Data

When you upload or collect personal information about your end customers through the Services, you are the controller of that information and MGR acts as your processor. You agree to our Data Processing Agreement, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5.4 Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Services, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use that feedback without restriction or compensation.

6. Third-Party Services and Review Platforms

The Services may integrate with third-party services and review platforms, including Google, Stripe, HubSpot, Slack, Discord, Twilio, and others. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. MGR does not control third-party platforms and is not responsible for their availability, actions, or enforcement decisions.

MGR does not guarantee that any review platform will accept, publish, retain, or rank reviews obtained through the Services. You are responsible for complying with each platform's guidelines.

7. AI Features

Certain features use artificial intelligence to analyze or generate content based on Your Content. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your use case. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before use, including review replies, suggestions, tags, or highlights.

AI features are provided "as is" and should not be relied on as legal, compliance, or professional advice.

8. Plans, Free Trial, Billing, and Payment

8.1 Plans and Pricing

Paid plans, usage limits, and pricing are described on our website and in the Services. We may offer monthly or yearly billing, add-ons, and agency or white-label plans with separate pricing.

Current published plans include Business, billed per location starting at $59/month (or a lower rate when billed yearly), and Agency, which includes a base allotment of locations and review requests with optional extra-location add-ons, subject to the limits and features shown at checkout or on our pricing page. Prices may change, but changes will not apply retroactively to an active subscription period except as required by law or with your consent.

8.2 Free Trial

New accounts may receive a 7-day free trial with access to core features. No credit card is required to start a trial unless you choose to subscribe during the trial.

When the trial ends, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using paid features. If you do not subscribe, your account may be limited, suspended, or downgraded according to your usage and plan status.

8.3 Subscriptions and Renewal

If you subscribe to a paid plan, you authorize us and our payment processor, Stripe, Inc., to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before renewal.

You are responsible for all applicable taxes except those based on our net income.

8.4 Upgrades, Downgrades, and Add-Ons

Plan changes and add-ons may take effect immediately or at the next billing cycle as shown during checkout or in the billing portal. Usage-based limits apply according to your active plan and add-ons.

8.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated. You will retain access to paid features until the end of the paid period.

After cancellation, your account may revert to a free or restricted state. We may delete or restrict access to Your Content if your account remains inactive or unpaid, subject to our Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement, and applicable law.

8.6 Refunds

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable and non-creditable, including for partial billing periods, unused requests, or downgrades. If you believe you were charged in error, contact legal@moregoodreviews.com within thirty (30) days of the charge.

9. Agency and White Label Accounts

This Section applies if you subscribe to an agency or white-label plan and use the Services to operate a branded client portal, custom domains, or client access on behalf of third-party businesses. If you do not use an agency or white-label plan, this Section does not apply to you.

By enabling or using agency or white-label features, you agree to this Section in addition to the rest of these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, and, where applicable, our Data Processing Agreement.

9.1 Definitions

  • "Agency Portal" means the client-facing application experience hosted on your white-label domain or otherwise configured to display your branding instead of MGR branding.
  • "Client" means a person or organization you invite to the Agency Portal to access one or more Projects you assign to them.
  • "Project" means a workspace within your account that you typically operate for a single client business.
  • "Team Member" means your internal staff or contractors you authorize to administer the Agency, Projects, and Clients.
  • "End Customer Data" means personal information about your clients' customers, contacts, or other individuals that is processed through the Services, including review request recipients and review submitters.

9.2 Relationship of the Parties

MGR and the Agency. MGR provides the underlying platform. You purchase the subscription, configure branding and domains, create Projects, and decide which Clients and Team Members may access the Services. You are MGR's direct customer. Fees, plan limits, suspension, and termination are governed by these Terms and your subscription, even when Clients use the Agency Portal.

Agency and Clients. You control which Clients may access which Projects and what features they may use. Clients are not direct contracting parties with MGR unless MGR expressly agrees otherwise in writing. You are solely responsible for your relationship with Clients, including onboarding, support, billing (if any), and any terms, privacy notices, or policies you present to Clients through the Agency Portal or otherwise.

Data protection roles. With respect to End Customer Data processed through the Services, MGR acts as a processor on your behalf under the DPA and you act as the controller (or an authorized processor acting on behalf of your Client, if applicable under your own agreement with that Client). You must ensure that you have a lawful basis and appropriate agreements to collect, upload, and process End Customer Data in the Services, including when a Client or Team Member performs those actions within your account. You are responsible for providing End Customer Data subjects with required notices regarding MGR's processing as your processor, including reference to our Privacy Policy, Sub-processors page, and DPA where appropriate.

9.3 White Label Features

Subject to your plan and this Section, you may:

  • create and manage multiple Projects for client businesses;
  • invite Team Members and Clients with role-based access;
  • configure branding such as logos, colors, portal name, footer content, meta tags, and optional custom CSS or JavaScript;
  • configure custom domains for sending email, the client portal, widgets, image hosting, and API access;
  • display your own footer, support contacts, and legal notices in the Agency Portal; and
  • hide MGR branding from the Agency Portal and customer-facing experiences where the product supports white label for your plan.

You may not represent that you own, developed, or operate the underlying MGR platform, except to the extent expressly permitted by your plan and this Section. You may not remove or obscure required operational disclosures that the Services display for security, abuse prevention, or legal compliance when the product requires them.

9.4 Agency Responsibilities

You agree to:

  1. Client agreements. Maintain appropriate written or electronic terms and privacy notices with Clients that govern their use of the Agency Portal and their processing of End Customer Data.
  2. End-customer notices. Ensure that review pages, widgets, messages, and other customer-facing experiences deployed under your brand include accurate identity and contact information for the relevant business, plus any privacy, cookie, and messaging disclosures required by applicable law.
  3. Authorized use. Ensure Team Members and Clients comply with these Terms, the DPA, and applicable law, including anti-spam, telecommunications, and review-platform rules.
  4. Access control. Assign the minimum role and project access necessary for each Team Member and Client, and promptly revoke access when it is no longer needed.
  5. Domain and email configuration. Configure DNS, DMARC, sending domains, and portal domains correctly and maintain them while you use white-label features. You are responsible for deliverability and authentication issues arising from your DNS or domain configuration.
  6. Cookie consent. Decide whether to enable the cookie consent banner on your white-label portal domain and ensure your deployment meets applicable consent requirements. If you disable the banner, you are responsible for implementing any alternative consent mechanism required by law.
  7. Custom code. Review any custom CSS or JavaScript you add to the Agency Portal. You are responsible for its legality, security, and compatibility with the Services.
  8. Support. Provide first-line support to Clients regarding their use of Projects, unless you and MGR agree otherwise in writing.
  9. Accurate representation. Not mislead Clients or End Customer Data subjects about who provides the Services, who receives their data, or how reviews and messages are sent.

9.5 Team Members and Clients

Team Members may access the Agency workspace and the Projects and settings you authorize. You are responsible for all actions taken by Team Members under your account.

Clients may access only the Projects and sections you assign. Client roles (such as manager, operator, or viewer) limit what they can do within those Projects. You may not invite a Client unless you have authority to grant them access to the relevant Project data and features.

Invitations expire according to the timeframe shown in the product at the time of invite. You are responsible for resending, revoking, or replacing invitations as needed. If a person accepts an invitation to your Agency Portal, they create credentials on your branded domain. You are responsible for account recovery and access disputes among your users except where MGR expressly provides account-level support to the Agency account owner.

9.6 Branding, Domains, and Email

You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload and display logos, icons, colors, footer content, and other branding materials through the Services. You grant MGR a limited license to host, reproduce, and display those materials solely to provide the white-label features you configure.

White-label domains remain your responsibility. If your agency subscription ends, is downgraded, or your account is suspended, MGR may disable custom domains, revert portal access to default hosts, or remove white-label configuration. You are responsible for updating DNS and client communications if domains change or stop working.

When you configure a white-label sending domain, email sent through the Services may appear to come from your domain. You are responsible for the content of messages sent by you, your Team Members, and your Clients, and for honoring unsubscribe, STOP, and other recipient preferences required by law.

9.7 Plan Limits and Fair Use

Agency plans may include limits on Projects, Clients, Team Members, locations, review requests, or other usage metrics described at checkout or in the Services. You may not circumvent plan limits by creating unauthorized accounts, sharing credentials, or reselling access outside the scope of your agency plan.

9.8 Suspension, Termination, and Offboarding

MGR may suspend or terminate agency or white-label features, Client access, or your account under these Terms if you or your users violate these Terms, the DPA, or applicable law, or if continued operation poses a security, legal, or operational risk.

If your agency subscription ends or is downgraded:

  • Client access to the Agency Portal may be disabled immediately or after any notice period stated in these Terms or your plan;
  • custom domains, white-label branding, and related configuration may be removed or revert to default MGR branding;
  • Projects and data may become read-only, restricted, or deleted according to these Terms, the DPA, and your account settings; and
  • you remain responsible for notifying Clients and exporting any data you need before access ends.

MGR is not liable to you or your Clients for loss of access to white-label domains or branding after termination or downgrade. When you remove a Client or delete a Project, you are responsible for communicating the change to affected Clients and for any export, retention, or deletion of data required by your agreements with them or by law.

10. API Access

If your plan includes API access, you may use our API only as documented and in accordance with these Terms. You must keep API keys confidential and are responsible for all activity conducted with your keys.

You may also connect external AI assistants or other clients to the Services through our Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector or similar mechanisms. When you authorize such a connection, you grant that client access to read, modify, or delete data within the scopes you approve, and that access is treated as activity under your account. You are responsible for the clients you connect and for their use of that access, and your use of any connected client is also subject to that client's own terms and policies.

We may impose rate limits, monitor usage, and suspend API or connector access that threatens the stability or security of the Services.

11. Intellectual Property

The Services, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, and documentation, are owned by MGR or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

You may not use our name, logos, or branding in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership without our prior written consent, except as permitted under an agency or white-label plan.

12. Confidentiality

Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party will use the disclosing party's confidential information only as necessary to perform under these Terms and will protect it with reasonable care. This obligation does not apply to information that is public, independently developed, or lawfully obtained from a third party without restriction.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MGR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, MGR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
  • review requests will result in reviews, ratings, or business outcomes;
  • AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your purposes; or
  • third-party integrations or review platforms will remain available or approve your content.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  1. MGR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, COVER, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
  2. MGR'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO MGR FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MGR and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any third-party claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your Content;
  • your use of the Services;
  • your messages, review requests, or communications sent through the Services;
  • your violation of these Terms or applicable law; or
  • your relationship with your end customers or review platforms; or
  • if you use an agency or white-label plan, your white-label configuration, branding, domains, footer content, or custom code, your relationship with Clients, failure to provide required notices to Clients or End Customer Data subjects, messages or review requests sent under your brand, or Client or Team Member use of the Services within your account.

We may assume control of the defense of any indemnified claim, and you will cooperate with us.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately if:

  • you materially breach these Terms;
  • we reasonably believe your use poses a security, legal, or operational risk;
  • your account is past due; or
  • we are required to do so by law.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the Services ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 5, 7, 9, 13, 14, 15, 17, and 18.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Except where prohibited by applicable law, you and MGR consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@moregoodreviews.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally.

18. General

  1. Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated Terms, updating the "Last Updated" date, and, where appropriate, notifying you by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where further consent is required by law.
  2. Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  3. Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
  4. Severability. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  5. Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the documents referenced in Section 1, constitute the entire agreement between you and MGR regarding the Services.
  6. No waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
